This rain-or-shine event begins registering participants at 7 AM. The 5 mile race starts at 9 AM. Special features for this race include light food and beverages and a short sleeve dri-fit race shirt. Kids 12 and under can participate.

Awards are given to the first, second and third place male and female. Proceeds from the race go to Face to Face, a human services organization which provides free meals, nurse-managed healthcare, legal and social service, computer training, creative arts studios and children's after school and summer programming.
