Fourth of July Celebration at Colonial Pennsylvania Plantation
It's time to celebration Independence Day at Colonial Pennsylvania Plantation. During this four day event, guests can expect to hear a reading of the Declaration of Independence, sign the Declaration using quill pens, and engage in other acts of rebellion on the farm.
Picnic lunches are welcome!
The schedule is as follows:
Daily 12:30 PM and 2:30 PM: Reading of the Declaration of Independence followed by burning of King George in effigy.
July 4: Roast s'mores and design flags
July 5: Make corn husk dolls to take home
July 6: Dip your own candles to take home
July 7: Make your own piece of paper and learn about the materials Thomas Jefferson needed to create the Declaration
