Learn about the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. at the Academy of Natural Sciences. Guests can gain a deeper appreciation for the environment they inhabit and the community in which they live as visitors imagine the equitable, just world that he envisioned.

Activities include meet the Women In Natural Sciences and Academy scientists, perform experiments to learn how cities are affected by climate change and pollution, and brainstorm simple, effective ways to reduce your impact on the environment. Plus guests can see a WHYY Special Report with Dr. Ruth Patrick at 11 AM, 1 PM, and 3 PM.

Metered parking is available near the museum. Some metered parking is free on Sundays but read signs carefully to make sure. Nearby parking lots offer discounted rates but be mindful as some have special requirements to obtain the discount.
