Wagner Free Institute of Science hosts its winter celebration offering seasonal activities and crafts with an Ice Age theme.
Dire wolves to mastodons, giant sloths to saber-tooth cats, the mammals that went extinct during this time are now the inspiration of legend. Now, guests can expect hands-on, Ice Age-themed art activities, scavenger hunts throughout the museum, and demonstrations that teach visitors more about this fascinating period of Earth’s history.
Activities are geared towards children ages 6-12 and their families; however, visitors of all ages are welcome. Admission and the program are free with a suggested donation of $10 for adults and $5 for children and seniors. Registration is encouraged but not required. To register, call the museum or visit their website.
