The Smoke on the Lake BBQ Festival is back at Logan Farm Park in Acworth. The event is free, but patrons can purchase taster tickets and a voting ticket to sample the competition.

Friday is "Lord of the Wings" competition; Saturday "People's Choice Pork."  Kids can enjoy the food and jump around in the bounce houses on both days. All net proceeds go to charity. 

The Friday night portion includes a concert by Georgia Players Guild performing the music of Creedence Clearwater Revival. Those who want to attend Friday have the option to reserve a table for six for $100 and then purchase food from vendors.

Saturday: 11am-4pm
