NASA's OSIRIS-REx Mission with Mission Sample Scientist Harold Connolly
Do you love space? Are you a NASA fan? Were you as excited about the OSIRIS-REx Asteroid Sample Return Mission as we were? Then this is the talk for you!
Join Prof. Harold C. Connolly Jr., planetary scientist and geologist who is the Mission Sample Scientist for NASA's OSIRIS-REx Mission, as he guides us through the journey of the mission and draws connections to the history of space exploration with the deep-diving questions of historian Prof. William D. Carrigan.
Thirty minutes before the presentation at 6:30pm, join us for a tabling session. Immediately following, from 8:00-10:00pm, we will have the Science Hall Observatory open for attendees to take in the wonders of space. (Note, the Edelman Planetarium will have two showings at 8:30 & 9:00 pm if there is inclement weather.)
