Mural Arts Philadelphia and Philadelphia Ballet team up to present Behind the Stage Door, a series of free, outdoor ballet performances incorporating art installation, set design, and dance. Four artists reinvent stage doors, interpreting the stories of four Philadelphia Ballet community members. The doors become background scenery for 30-minute, free, family-friendly performances, and will be “opened” to reveal animated film screenings outside of performance times. Locations and Pop-up Performances by Philadelphia Ballet 11: Teatro Esperanza: May 7th, 2022, 7:30pm, 4261 N. 5th Street FDR Park: May 8th, 2022, 4:00pm, 1500 Pattison Avenue & S. Broad Street Bartram’s Gardens: May 25th, 2022, 6:00pm, 5400 Lindbergh Blvd. Dilworth Plaza: May 26th, 2022, 6:00pm, 1S 15th Street (West Side of City Hall) All performances are free and no ticket is required
