Fall is a great time of year to learn about birds of prey and about how they live during this hour long session at Morris Arboretum. Guests learn about the history of these magnificent birds, from hawk training as the Sport of Kings 4,000 years ago, to today’s conservation efforts to save endangered species like the peregrine falcon.

Tom Stanton trained birds of prey with a local master falconer. He enjoys sharing his passion about raptors with school children, boy scouts, and girl scouts. This event is held at Bloomfield Farms located on the other side of the Arboretum.
