Brooklyn in the House? The first thing I was surprised to see is that almost all of the respondents were from Manhattan. I'm pretty sure that that is not because most of the readers of this site are from Manhattan. I'm wondering if the fact that I offered a prize of a Manhattan restaurant skewed the results. I want to assure all outer-borough readers that if you win the random drawing and would prefer a local restaurant, I am happy to oblige. So please represent your borough and tell us what people in the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island, New Jersey, Long Island and Westchester are looking for more of on this site. Make Emails Easier I got a couple of comments asking to put the post title in the subject line of the email feed. I did look into this, but Feedburner, who I use for my email subscriptions, does not support this at this time. I haven't been that crazy about the Feedburner email service in general lately. In addition to that issue, which I agree is not optimal, they have been sending the emails so erratically. They are supposed to go out between 7 and 9AM every day and it seems like they are almost never going out that early. I received one at 5 PM last week. My first priority is to redesign the site and make some other changes, but switching email services may be coming soon. Redesign A bunch of people said they wished the site was more colorful and pretty. Flowers and puppies are not in the future, but I am working on a new page design that will be more colorful as well as having some new features that readers asked for. I don't want to give all the surprises away. I'm hoping to roll out the new page design toward the end of November. Click Here to take survey
