Looking for the best things to do in Chicago this weekend? Here are some family-friendly events and activities to add to your list!
The calendar has flipped over to November and fall-themed events are fading and giving way to holiday shows. Check out the opening weekends of Illumination at the Morton Arboretum, A Christmas Carol at the Goodman Theater, or Christmas Around the World: A Holiday of Lights at the Museum of Science and Industry. If you're not quite ready for the holidays, check out some shows about powerful girls and women. Annie opens this week at the Chicago Theatre, Wheaton kids are performing Moana, Jr., and little Swifties can celebrate Taylor at a Rock 'n Roll Playhouse show in Evanston.
If you don't want to cook for Thanksgiving, we have a great list of kid-friendly restaurants that are open. And now is the time to book your tickets to one of our favorite productions of The Nutcracker -- many of these shows sell out as the date approaches.
Hope you have a fantastic fall weekend!
