El Segundo's event includes daytime fun in the park, followed by an evening celebration.

The daytime celebration runs from 10am-3pm with classic family entertainment that in the past has included family races, a water balloon toss, community games, and food trucks, as well as pie and watermelon eating contests.

Evening events run from 5pm to 9pm, and include live music and food booths. 

Wristbands are required for entry to Softball and Stevenson Fields during evening events, free for children 2 and under.
