AAPI New Jersey Color Run
Celebrate the spirit of two vibrant festivals! Holi—the Hindu “Festival of Colors” and “Festival of Spring”—marks the end of winter and honors the triumph of good over evil as people throw colored powder at one another. Join this vibrant 5k race and 1-mile fun run in celebration of Holi and Songkran.
During Songkran or Thai New Year, people pour water on each other to symbolize washing away the past year’s bad luck and welcoming happiness, renewal, and prosperity. Inspired by these traditions, we are excited to bring the community together for a morning of movement, laughter, and cultural celebration.
Participants race through a closed course inside Brookdale Park, getting splattered with colorful powder along the way. Strollers are welcome (though we ask that they start in the back of the pack), but unfortunately, dogs are not permitted.
Registration is open to all, but space is limited. Sign up now to secure your spot.
