Witness some of the nation’s top cyclists from around the world racing for the crown through the historic streets of downtown College Park at the USA Crits Speed Week Finals and the finale of Spin the District! The College Park Crit features a uniquely thrilling uphill circuit race. Races begin at 9 a.m., with College Park’s signature street festival kicking off at noon, where spectators can enjoy an artist market, food trucks, live entertainment and more.
Pro women’s and men’s races are set for 3:30 and 5 p.m., where cyclist will race to the finish line at record-breaking speeds.
Just before the pro women take the line, the spotlight shifts to the next generation of speed demons. Free to participate, kids can line up at 3 p.m. for one of two show-stopping races: one for experienced riders on two wheels, and another for beginners on trikes, training wheels or balance bikes.
All levels of cyclists are encouraged to register online. Spectator attendance is free, with food and beverages available for purchase. Spectators are encouraged to bring a fold-up chair, blanket or shade tent to relax and enjoy the action along the course.
