Saved by a Story Intergenerational Writing Group
- see all dates
Also on April 23, 2025; May 28, 2025; June 25, 2025.
Saved by a Story-Intergenerational Writing Workshop welcomes participants of all ages to come together in community, to dive into creativity and share stories.
Writing prompts are given to spark creativity, enabling participants to surprise themselves and discover the bounty of stories that lie within.
Everyone is invited to come together and write, choose to share (or not, as they decide), listen and write some more. This workshop offers creativity and community in a non-judgmental environment.
The activity is held in the beautiful environs of the Wende Museum and its provocative and compelling collection. Some of the prompts can help the group engage with the current exhibitions as well as engage with each other.
Later groups include drafting stories and workshopping them.
Participants should bring writing materials such as a note book and a pen, or, if preferred, a laptop.
Saved by a Story-Intergenerational Writing Workshop meets in person on the second and fourth Wednesday of the month. Please arrive 5 or 10 minutes early to get settled, as the group starts promptly at 4pm.
Event is held in the Cotsen Learning Center on the 2nd floor of the Glorya Kaufman Community Center. Enter the garden gate off of the parking lot adjacent to the Wende museum on Culver Blvd.
Register to participate in this free workshop.
