CMOM invites kids to explore winter festivals celebrated in different cultures and create artwork inspired by these frosty festivities around the world.

Collaborative Timkat Tapestry
Timkat is a festival celebrated in Ethiopia in January, marking the Ethiopian Orthodox Epiphany with colorful processions, music, and dance. Create a collaborative tapestry inspired by the vibrant colors and motifs seen during Ethiopia’s Timkat festival, using fabric, yarn, and beads.

Mali: Saharan Sunset Silhouettes
