Día de Muertos at the Hudson River Museum
Sat Nov 2, 2024 - Sun Nov 3, 2024
- see all dates
Repeating every days through November 3, 2024.
12:00pm to 5:00pm ET
Age: 6 and up
Price: Free with general admission
Celebrate Día de Muertos by making Cempasúchils, or Mexican Marigolds, in an art workshop. Leave it on the community altar or take it home.
The community altar, or ofrenda, will be on view from Friday, November 1, through Sunday, November 3 during regular museum hours. In addition to the Cempasúchils, you are invited to place pictures of your departed loved ones. The museum recommends bringing copies of the pictures instead of originals. If you are unable to do so in person, you may email a photo to Pedro Betanzos at pbetanzos@hrm.org.
