It’s an unfortunate fact that Halloween is terrible for the environment: most decorations and costumes are used only once before being thrown away, and they’re often made of plastics and harmful chemicals that can persist in the environment for centuries. So, let’s green Halloween at the annual Young Ethical Explorers costume makerspace, where kids of all ages can turn recycled materials of all kinds–cardboard, fabric, plastic, old clothes, and more–into their own unique costume creations.

The Society provides a trove of donated materials and attendees are also invited to bring their own!

Space is limited, and RSVP is required.
