Green Halloween Sustainable Costume Making with Young Ethical Explorers

Sun Oct 27, 2024
10:00am to 12:30pm ET
Age: 4-11
Price: FREE
Location:
New York Society for Ethical Culture
It’s an unfortunate fact that Halloween is terrible for the environment: most decorations and costumes are used only once before being thrown away, and they’re often made of plastics and harmful chemicals that can persist in the environment for centuries. The Society provides a trove of donated materials and attendees are also invited to bring their own!
Space is limited, and RSVP is required.

Sessions raise issues of personal identity and integrity...
