Budding engineers can try out the fully functional M7 Train Simulator now available at the Oyster Bay Railroad Museum.

The museum has transformed its old simulator into a near-real experience, allowing visitors to take the controls of a "Long Island Railroad train" and navigate virtual tracks like a real engineer.

The Museum is open April through Mid-November on Saturdays and Sundays noon to 4pm. Bonus: the Oyster Bay Library offers free museum passes for cardholders!
