Experience a vibrant festival atmosphere with live music, African-American and Latin cultural dances, street chalk art, a reptile petting zoo, book giveaways, STEM program activities, a bubble show, and much more. 

Urban Healing HTX is a nonprofit dedicated to uplifting the Fifth Ward community through arts and culture. The annual community block party is designed to engage both the local community and Houstonians in celebrating the rich history of the Louis White Grocery store. 

Everyone is welcome to join in exploring the history of the Fifth Ward while enjoying this free, family-friendly event.
