- see all dates
Enjoy this new, upbeat version of Jack and the Beanstalk performed by Ensemble Theater.
The story centers around a young boy who wants to be a Hip-Hop superstar but doesn’t believe in himself enough to take his gift seriously. With help from his mother, a neighborhood giant, and his imaginary friend Nellie the Cow, Jack learns to grow his hopes and dreams like planting and watering a seed, and how to believe in the power within himself.
Pre and post-show student engagement in the form of improvisation and conversation will allow viewers to explore production elements.
Suitable for PK-8th grade audience.
The Mission of The Ensemble Theatre is to preserve African American artistic expression and enlighten, entertain and enrich a diverse community.
All performances at Miller Outdoor Theatre are FREE!
