Hosted by the DC Department of Public Works, this family-friendly event allows children to climb aboard and explore nearly 30 distinct vehicles from various DC government departments, while adults get a rare opportunity to operate some of the equipment.Explore the machinery behind street cleaning, traffic management, waste disposal, snow removal, emergency services, and even mobile healthcare.

​Meanwhile, the DC Department of Parks and Recreation rolls out a series of engaging activities for everyone, including tennis, basketball, and fitness challenges. In collaboration with the DC Free Summer Meals Program, complimentary packed lunches are available for attendees under 18.

Concurrently running is the DC Electric Vehicle Grand Prix.
