The Ashokan Center will warm up two February days in a lovely winter setting with eight flavors of hot chocolate: peppermint, raspberry, banana, coffee, spicy, coconut, orange and salted caramel. There will also be live music, juggling, guided trail hikes, and blacksmithing demonstrations where, for $20, you can forge your own plant hanger, fire poker or heart-shaped trivet.

Hot breakfast sandwiches and chili will be for sale in the dining hall.

Advanced tickets are $10 per day, tickets at the gate are $12 per day, and there’s no admission cost for kids 5 and under. Your first two cups of hot chocolate are included with admission. Additional cups are $3 each. Hours each day are 10am to 2pm.

Make a weekend of it at one of Ashokan’s lodges. If you book an overnight stay, your Hot Chocolate Fest admission is included.
