Family Seltzer Party at the Brooklyn Seltzer Museum
The Brooklyn Seltzer Museum hosts its second Family Seltzer Party with family-friendly games, crafts, stories, and other activities. See the production process, learn how the glass bottle siphons keep seltzer bubbly, and try an egg cream made the only proper way.
Acitivities for younger children include an event-specific coloring page and egg cream mixing (with child-sized siphons!)
Teenagers get their own egg cream mixing, a tour of the seltzer factory, seltzer spraying, and a scavenger hunt.
An egg cream and seltzer drinking station is available throughout, as is the chanukah-themed mascot selfie station, the seltzer cornholes, the Seltzer Production Puzzle Challenge and of course all of the exhibits in the Museum.
The Build a Bottle Workshop invites kids and adults alike to master the art of siphon care. Learn how to take apart a real historical seltzer siphon using professional tools. Rebuild the bottle then prep it to be filled in the factory’s seltzer machine. Spritz your friends or keep it filled when you take it home as a souvenir from the party. Note: Parents and caregivers are welcome to watch their children without reserving space. For example, a group of two adults and three children can reserve spots for only two of the children (while the rest watch from nearby). This option will be offered during the ticket purchasing process. The time in the Workshop can be fulfilled during or after your timed party ticket.
This is a ticketed event for one-hour-long sessions.
