Individuals, scout groups and other organizations are welcome to submit a scarecrow for display in the Scarecrow Garden at Old Westbury Gardens. From October 4-31, a garden featuring scarecrows created by individuals and organizations will be on display on the east side of the gardens, near the Lake Trail.

  • Scarecrow Drop Off: September 27, 28, and 29 10am to 7pm
  • Scarecrow Pickup: Saturday, November 2, 10am-6pm
  • Exhibition Dates: October 4–31, 2024 (closed Tuesdays)

A fan-favorite contest will be held throughout the month. The winner will receive a $50 Amazon Gift Card. More details on how to becoming invovled can be found here.
