Los Angeles International Children's Film Festival: Virtual Voyage
The Los Angeles International Children’s Film Festival: Virtual Voyage is an online collection of more than 40 short films from around the world for all ages, selected from some of the best films at recent in-person festivals - animation, live action and documentary.
During the virtual festival, the films are viewable from anywhere in the world (and maybe in some parts of outer space).
The films are available for viewing August 26 to September 3. After registering for the event, attendees for the virtual festival will receive a link to view the films starting August 26.
The $25 cost covers an entire family. Proceeds help bring a young filmmaker and family to Southern California for an in-person screening of their film, along with filmmaker learning experiences from industry professionals.
The inaugural young filmmaker travel recipient is Marusya Shuvalova, a 13-year-old Ukrainian filmmaker who lives with her family in Kyiv and has co-created two short documentary films about life as a child during wartime.
