Artuta’s Summer Art Camp is designed to teach advanced visual arts to students ages 14-18 in partnership with Tappeto Volante. Students develop their artistic creativity by experimenting with a variety of materials, techniques, and conceptual approaches.

There are seven weeks of art camp, each week having its own theme and focus. In each class, instructors demonstrate projects step-by-step, then students try their hand at it, creating their own unique piece of art. Although each class is structured, students have the freedom to pursue their own ideas. Instructors allow time for presentations and reflections at the end of each class. You can attend classes for one week or all seven. Students will get discounted access to Studio Freestyle to further explore their art practice.

In addition, students will have the wonderful opportunity to show their artwork at the Artuta Student Exhibition at Tappeto Volante in Gowanus, Brooklyn.
