Celebrate the Lunar New year with Lion Dance performances by the Houston Lion Kings and enjoy a special Storytime: "The Year of the Rabbit: Tales from the Chinese Zodiac" by Oliver Chin.
This story is part of a series highlighting each animal of the Chinese zodiac and teaches children Eastern and Western values. Rosie is an adventurous rabbit who was born with very long ears. Through Rosie’s endearing story, children learn about friendship and bravery and that being different is okay.
The event is included in the price of admission, which is $8 for adults and children 1 year and older. The Lion Dance performances by the Houston Lion Kings are at 10:30 am and 11:30 am.
