The Old City tree lighting ceremony, originally scheduled for Wednesday, November 30, will be in the Betsy Ross House courtyard.
Festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. with a musical performance. The man of the hour, Santa himself, arrives at 6 p.m. by fire truck. Following a dance performance and brief remarks by Councilman Squilla and representatives from Old City District and the Betsy Ross House, Channel 6’s Alicia Vitarelli and Betsy Ross will flip the switch to illuminate the tree.
