Downtown Riverhead's holiday tree lighting ceremony is an all day affair, kicking off at the Town Square with a pet parade followed by a puppet show. 2023 Schedule:

  • 1:30pm: Pet parade
  • 3:30pm: Goat on a Boat puppet show and holiday crafts for kids
  • 4pm: Musical performances from local youth groups, giveaways, food and drinks
  • 5pm: Tree lighting
