The Nutcracker at Coral Springs Center for the Arts
- see all dates
Celebrate the 25th annual Nutcracker at the Coral Springs Center for the Arts. Since 2000, the Coral Springs Center for the Arts has proudly hosted the International Ballet Company's enchanting annual production of The Nutcracker, a holiday classic that captures the hearts of young and old alike.
This full-length performance combines magical stage effects, exquisite costuming, and Tchaikovsky's unforgettable score to tell the story of Clara and her beloved Nutcracker. Given as a gift by her grandfather, the magician Dr. Drosselmyer, the Nutcracker leads Clara on a journey beyond imagination. After a spirited holiday party, a jealous brother, and a midnight battle with the Giant Rat King, Clara's Nutcracker comes to life as her handsome Cavalier Prince. Together, they travel through sparkling snow to the Kingdom of the Sweets, where the majestic Sugar Plum Fairy and dancers from foreign lands welcome Clara to dance in a land of wonder.
Is it all just a dream, or has Clara truly visited a magical world?
