Check out the state-of-the-art immersive exhibition, Ramses The Great and the Gold of the Pharaohs at the de Young museum. Not only will guests get to see all the artifacts, many of which have never left Egypt, but also try a new virtual reality experience.

Sit in one of the cinematic-motion chairs and be transported to Ancient Egypt, where you can explore Abu Simbel and Nefetari's tomb, complete with sounds, smells, and movements. 

The virtual reality experience is recommended for kids 8 and older. Check the website for weekend admission prices.
