The Washington Folk Festival at historic Glen Echo Park is a celebration of the many cultural traditions that are part of the greater Washington community.
This year’s Festival again provides a wide array of international culture along with American blues, bluegrass, old-time string bands, contemporary singer-songwriters, gospel, and western swing. There are also storytellers, a crafts market, and much more.
The event is rain or shine.
Parking on-site is limited. There is a free shuttle from the free satellite parking at the Waverly parking lot located at 7400 Waverly Street, Bethesda, MD 20814, one block from the Bethesda Metro station on the Red Line.
