Observe a Lunar Eclipse at the Udvar-Hazy Center

A total lunar eclipse will be visible from the Washington, DC area on Sunday night. Telescopes will be set up in the parking lot at the Udvar-Hazy Center where participants can observe the lunar eclipse, planets, stars, and more.

Maximum eclipse will be reached around midnight.

Participants should bring warm clothes and a small flashlight.

Parking is free at the museum after 4 pm and attendees should park at the south end of the main lot. Stargazing is located at the south end of the Museum's parking lot. Look for staff with red flashlights.
