NYC Leaders 4SC Summer Camp

Leaders 4SC is a summer workshop for middle school (rising 5th to 9th grade) students focusing on leadership, communication, decision-making, and advocacy. The goal of the camp is to train the next generation of civic leaders who actively participate in their communities.
By the end of each week, students will have:
- Completed at least one writing or speaking assignment arguing for and defending their opinion on any current issue
- Participated in daily discussions and activities on a different major current event every day
- Participated in daily task force activities to role play as key decision-makers and stakeholders
- Discussed, debated, and bonded with an incredible group of engaged young people
Dates/Times
Students may attend any combination of weeks (curriculum below):
Session 1 (NYC*) — Writing Focus: July 11-15 (M-F; 10am-4pm)
Session 2 (NYC*) — Speaking Focus: July 18-22 (M-F; 10am-4pm)

Session 4 (Virtual) — Speaking Focus: August 1-5 (M-F; 11am-3pm)
*Proof of COVID-19 vaccination required for all students attending camp in-person
Pricing:
One Week: $300/week
Two Weeks: $500/total
$150/w for virtual
