Memorial Day in Prospect Park
The Prospect Park Alliance hosts family-friendly nature education programs at Prospect Park Audubon Center and the Prospect Park Carousel in honor of Memorial Day, including an animal meet-and-greet and a family bird walk.
Discovery Pack, 12pm-3pm:
Explore nature on your own with the help of a backpack filled with nature activities and exploration tools, perfect for families and kids to interact with the park in a whole new way!
Animal Encounter, 1-2pm:
Alliance Naturalists introduce families to one of the animals in the Audubon Center’s collection. This program starts promptly at 2pm.
Family Bird Walk, 2-3pm:
Prospect Park is a stopping point for hundreds of bird species each year! Search for these amazing creatures and other natural icons around the park. Binoculars and bird guides are provided. This program leaves the Audubon Center promptly at 3pm.
