A Chance to Shine
A BHcare fundraising event will be held on Saturday, June 4, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at Quarry Walk in Oxford with a walk dedicated to victims and survivors of domestic violence and a family fun day.The day will kick off with a 10 a.m. walk in remembrance of Lori Jackson.
Following the walk, we'll have live music by Frantic City, inflatables, kids' activities, food trucks, touch-a-truck, and some special surprises.
All funds raised will benefit all BHcare programs, which include The Umbrella Center for Domestic Violence Services, the Hope Family Justice Center, the Parent Child Resource Center, Alliance for Prevention and Wellness, and BHcare’s mental health, and substance use resources.
Early-bird walk registration, which runs until Friday, May 27, is $20 for an individual and $40 for a family of as many as 5. Beginning Saturday, May 28 until Saturday, June 4, individual registration will be $30 and family registration will be $50.
Family fun day activities are free. Food and beverages are available to purchase.
