The theater's annual Día de los Muertos block party celebration is a popular community event that features decorated altars, food, and live music. 

Performers on the Main Stage include headliner Louie Beltran, while the second stage features local bands, as well as bands from schools and community organizations.

Guests can enjoy homemade tamales, craft booths, and a graveyard where families can make their own altars for departed loved ones.

The event is held on Hoover Street between 23rd and Adams, and on 24th Street from Tolberman and Magnolia.
