Ranch Palos Verdes brings back its popular outdoor synthetic ice skating rink right near the beach, with festive activities planned throughout the holiday season.

Spectators are welcome, but advance reservations are strongly recommended for skating. The rink hosts a big opening night event on December 16, with festivities throughout the opening weekend, after which it closes again until after Christmas. Special events occur on a few dates, including an 80s Skate on New Year's Eve.

Opening night festivities on December 16 feature a tree lighting ceremony, crafts, food, and entertainment. Note that hours are 5:30-8:30pm on opening night:

Booking in advance for any session is strongly recommended. Sessions are 30 minutes long, and skates are provided.
