Prepare for a scare at a free storytelling show, inspired by the dark history of Inwood. This collection of scary stories includes tales of the Dutch colonists who bought Manhattan from the Lenape, Revolutionary War soldiers haunted in Fort Cockhill, the devils behind Spuyten Duyvil, and most terrifying of all, the specter of gentrification haunting the neighborhood.

A theatrical walking tour like no other, The Shadows of Inwood will both terrify and educate about one of Manhattan's most overlooked neighborhoods.

Register online in advance; the program is offered at 4pm, 6pm and 7:30pm
