“Native New Yorkers are still here!” with the Children’s Cultural Center of Native America

Celebrate Indigenous Peoples Day at the Museum of the City of New York with the Children’s Cultural Center of Native America (CCCONA) and learn about the contemporary and historical presence of Indigenous New Yorkers.
The workshop focuses on the Lenape legacy of traditional storytelling and Lenape language using puppets. CCCONA uses storytelling bags to share How it Came to Be – creation accounts from Indigenous America.
Programs at 1pm or 2:30pm. Register in advance, online, as seating is limited.
In case of inclement weather the event will be rescheduled for Monday, Oct 11.
