To celebrate the Year of Water at Awbury, the arboretum, in conjunction with Let's Go Outdoors, offers family programming at the wetlands area on select dates. Activities include getting crafty with water bottles, hikes, and geocaching.

Other programming features making cinch sack, hacky sacks, and flowerpots. No registration is required for this free event.

Guests should meet at the Awbury Arboretum pond and wetlands. Be sure to park on Washington Lane near the Washington Lane Train Station because parking for this event is not available at the Cope House.
