Ten Days of Holiday Happenings in the DTL
- see all dates
Lawrenceville hosts ten fun-filled days to ring in the holidays. Each day offers a different event starting with The Lighting of the Great Tree on the lawn of the Gwinnett Historic Courthouse on Thursday, November 27.
The festivities begin on Thanksgiving night with the beloved 38th Annual Lighting of the Tree at the Gwinnett Historic Courthouse, where Santa himself will illuminate the Great Tree. The celebration continues with Reimagine Black Friday and Shop Small, Y’all!, encouraging everyone to support local shops and eateries while enjoying live music at Crogan Plaza.
Throughout the week, guests can get creative at the Jingle Bell Workshop at COhatch, write heartfelt holiday postcards at participating coffee shops through The Merry Mailbox, and join the Festival of Trees at the Lawrenceville Arts Center, each event spreading goodwill and holiday spirit across the community.
Families can also look forward to Grinchmas Story Time at Liberty Books, Tea Time with Mrs. Claus at Becca’s Well, a festive Charcuterie Workshop at Vintages: A Tasting Room, and the Merry & Bright Blooms floral event at Lovin’ Florist to wrap up the week in full holiday bloom.
