The Orange County Children's Book Festival is held in person once again in 2022.

The largest children's book festival in the country goes virtual. In previous years, the Orange County Children's Book Festival has drawn more than 150 authors and illustrators, and 33,000 attendees. 

Authors appearing this year include Kristen Bell, Jeff Kinney, Dave Shannon, and Kwame Alexander.

September 14-25: Story & Activity Time:

September 19: Blue-Ribbon Panels

  • Be the Change: Stories to Inspire Social Justice & Action
  • Good Grief!: Helping Kids Cope with Sadness & Loss During the COVID Crisis

September 26: Red Carpet Time

  • Celebrity and authors readings and sharing personal stories
