Observing the Animals of Vineyard Field—Like a Scientist!
Museum educator Rachel Speckenbach leads kids a journey into Vineyard Field, behind the museum, to study the different animals that live there and learn why they do what they do. Participants learn about patience, necessary observation skills, and how to record notes like a scientist.
Please note that, as mandated by the latest State Executive Order regarding COVID-19 safety precautions, the number of participants for outdoor nature walks is limited. SOFO will at all times follow stringent six-feet distancing separation protocols required by the Department of Health for the safety of participants and environmental educators. Masks and gloves are provided for all attendees.
Advance reservations are required for all events. To register for this walk, which is limited to 10 people, please email info@sofo.org. Spots will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis, and your reservation will be confirmed by email.
