"In compliance with a request from the California Department of Public Health requesting the cancellation of any event with 250 people or more, this year’s Irish Fest has been canceled."
Mission Viejo celebrates St. Patrick’s Day with a festival in the park, featuring Irish band Cillian’s Bridge, Irish dancers, sheep herding demonstrations, Irish bag pipers, and a lucky leprechaun.
Other entertainment includes bungee jumping, an inflatable obstacle course, face painting, crafts, and games for kids. Irish food is available for purchase.
An Irish Costume Contest takes place at 2pm.
