Community Tree Planting at Creekside Park West Trailhead
Head the Creekside Park West Trailhead of the George Mitchell Nature Preserve for the sixth annual Community Tree Planting with The Woodlands Township. Volunteers will plant native trees, wildflower seed and milkweed plants.
Volunteers will be provided with small tools and gloves. Bring reusable water bottles and dress appropriately for being outdoors (closed-toe shoes, sunscreen, hat, etc.
All ages are welcome. Volunteers under the age of 14 must have an adult on-site to supervise during the tree planting.
Registration is required. Pre-registration is encouraged, especially for groups.
Registration will also be available the day of the tree planting. Volunteers under the age of 18 must have an adult sign their waiver.
This effort supports The Woodlands Township’s reforestation program as well as the Plant for Pollinators program that helps protect our native bees, butterflies and moths.
