The Paper Bag Players: Here We Go!
The Paper Bag Players celebrate their 61st season with Here We Go!, the latest fanciful show from America’s longest-running theater for children.
Bursting with new work and classic sketches, the family-friendly hour features hilarious stories, charming dances, lovable characters, whimsical music, on-stage painting, and our signature paper and cardboard sets and costumes.
Things get off to a rollicking start with Howdy!, a Western ho-down complete with galloping horses and a giant farmhand named Big Red. The Chair features a chair with a mind all its own as it refuses to be sat upon in its brand new home. In the classic number, Tree Angel, trees, with a little help from the audience and their very own angel, discover how to outsmart a woodchopper. Zymillaquixar, a story told with vivid paint and lively song, brings us straight out of the galaxy to an undiscovered planet where our astronauts meet Snerp, a sweet little alien with a sense of humor.
