The Chicago Campfire Festival in the park
This has everything you want in a good fall festival. Families are invited to enjoy the pumpkin patch, live music, professional ghost stories, corn maze, campfires, and much more.
Bring your chairs or blanket to set up your home base for the day. Come early for the best seats. Families are encouraged to bring coolers. Food is also available for purchase at the event and proceeds benefit the Chase Park Advisory Council.
Ghost stories are family-friendly, but spooky and are told during the light of day.
5 pm campfires will be lit, s'mores station will open, and marshmallow roasting will begin.
Don't miss the fire eaters' performance in the park and circus wheel show in the gym.
The family movie in the park will be "Hocus Pocus" beginning at 8:30 pm.
Fires will be extinguished promptly at 10:30 pm.
For more details on the schedule of events see the website's time and location tab.
In the event of poor weather, an indoor version of the festival will be hosted the same day.
