Kids Clay Workshop with the Claymobile

Sat Apr 13, 2019
11:00am to 2:00pm ET
Age: 4-12
Price: Free
Location:
The Woodlands

Children of all ages are invited to attend this free art-making event led by The Clay Studio’s Claymobile. Kids can make clay pendants and participate in a large group clay sculpture project.

It is important to note that the clay pendants air-dry and can be taken home the same day.

The event takes place at the historic Hamilton Mansion at The Woodlands. Depending on weather, this program may take place just outside the building, or inside. Rain or shine, come make art with the Claymobile!

The Woodlands is located directly across from the 40th Street Trolley portal. Follow the winding road into the property, and the clay art event takes place just outside the historic Hamilton mansion. Parking is available on site, just outside the Hamilton Mansion.

This program is held in conjunction with the exhibition "Graffiti & Ornament" at The Woodlands. The exhibition features new site-specific works by Roberto Lugo and Leo Tecosky, curated by Elizabeth Essner and organized by Past Present Projects. Families are invited to visit this free exhibition during their time at the art program.
