International Migratory Bird Day
Help the Prospect Park Alliance celebrate the importance of stop-over locations like Prospect Park to migratory birds. More than 250 species have been recorded in the park, and it is not uncommon to see 100 or more species in one spring day.
Blooming Naturalists, 10am–12pm: Learn about native plants and their importance to migratory birds.
Nature on the Go!, 11am–12pm: An Alliance Naturalist leads children and families to areas near the Audubon Center, where you can learn about the nature that is all around us. This program leaves promptly at 11am.
Nature's Helpers, 12–1pm:Learn how to keep Prospect Park healthy by cleaning up the lakeshore, spreading mulch or removing invasive species. This program leaves promptly at 12 pm.
